The Monster Energy Kozos team was able to bring home 2 national championship titles in Mountain Billy Patterson Cross lead by 37yrs young Billy Patterson of Parker, Colorado (Cat 2, 30-39) & 12yr old Collin Hudson (Junior men 14 & under) of Longmont. Billy describes his win as “unbelievable. A dream come true.

Collin Hudson A lot of hard work and perseverance went into this Win”. For Collin, big Wins are nothing new. Collin Collected a National Champions jersey only to board a plane the next day headed for Adelaide, Australia to the UCI BMX World Championships. Collin picked up a World #2 12yr old Boys finish and a World #2 12yr old boys Cruiser finish.

Collin is also the defending Colorado state champion in Junior Men 14 & under. All in all it’s been a great season.

There are still 2 more races to go in the Mountain States Cup series with races at Snowmass, Colorado and then the final stop on Labor Day weekend again at Sol Vista that will conclude the 2009 Mountain States Cup Series.

Other Notable USA Cycling National Championship finishes were Austin Chipman - 3rd Place (Cat 3 Mens 15-18 DH) & and AdamFox - 5th Place (Cat 3 Mens 15-18 DH).
